Crafstman 6.54 hp won't start threads: 0 / posts: 0

got this motor from someone. took cover off, magneto and coil rusty. cleaned and put back on. won't start. acts like no spark. has compression. what else could it be. Kill switch no cable so which position does it need to be in. Back or forward? any other suggestions. Fresh gas and oil in it now. Which spark plug does it require?
